A Group Known as Eleojo Women Association for Ododo/Joel Lokoja Kogi State is set to endorse President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for second term in office.

 


A Group Known as Eleojo Women Association for Ododo/Joel Lokoja Kogi State is set to endorse President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for second term in office.


Technical Assistant of the Association, comrade Alfa Ebune made this known when he led members of the group on courtesy visit to the Director-General of the Kogi State Broadcasting Corporation, Princess Nana Hauwa Yusuf in her office Lokoja.



As the political situation is gathering momentum in the country, different groups are intensifying the supports for the reelection of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for second term in office comes twenty twenty-seven.


Following the development, the Group Known as Eleojo Women Association for Ododo/Joe Lokoja, is not left out as it set to endorse President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo on twenty-first of this month, as well as presentation of award, unveiling of patron and matron of the association.


Speaking during the visit, Comrade Alfa Ebune said Eleojo Women Association is an association of various women organizations from Kogi East, Central and west, passionate about the programme of the  Governor due his great achievements in the area of prompt payment of salary and all round development of the state.



Comrade Ebune noted that the aim of the visit was to intimate the DG with activities of the group, saying the women association is set  to endorse  President Tinubu and Governor Ododo for continuity 2027  on 21st of this month in Lokoja, hence the need for the visit to radio House to solicit support of the Radio towards creating awareness ahead of the upcoming programme.


Coordinator of the Association, Hajia Fatima Abuh maintained that the women are strongly behind Tinubu /Ododo continuity 2027, describing Ododo as a Governor who is not discriminating against anyone but carry everybody along, hence the readiness of the women to walk with him


Responding, the Director-general, Kogi State Broadcasting Corporation, Princess Nana Hauwa Yusuf, while aligning with the visions of the group, said Tinubu/Ododo continuity 2027 is a good course in view of their track records, and assured of collaboration and prayers to enable them succeed.


Princess Nana Hauwa assured the group of adequate publicity of its activities on radio ahead of the upcoming programme for public awareness.
