Jubilations galore at the State Secretariat of the governing Party,All Progressives Congress  in Lokoja, kogi State Capital as chairmanship  and councilor Aspirants under going screening ahead of its primaries slated for this Saturday.



  Accurate News was at the party's Secretariat reports minute to minute accounts said the  state party's Secretariat venue of the exercise is beehive of political activities as Aspirants showed up for the all important exercise.


 Screening committee was sub divided into three units for quick attending to the Aspirants while the state  Party executive members were busy all through putting finishing touches for the primary election and ensure a rancour free exercise.




The Lokoja Local government area's leading  chairmanship Aspirant who's popularly  known as "Gentle" came into the venue of the screening exercise with a large crowd of APC supporters, admirers and political Associates while traditional drummers entertain spectators with music and dance  that electrified the event.

okoja, kogi State capital literally came to a halt as movement of motorists were made difficult on the major road because of the surging crowd of supporters  and Party faithfuls that accompanied him to expressed their  unwavering support and solidarity.



The chairmanship  and councelorship Aspirants of Lokoja , Bassa, Omala, Dekina, Yagba East, Yagba West , Idah, IgalaMela /Odolu,Ofu , Olamaboro,  Okene, Ajaokuta and Kogi local government areas  were also spotted at the  Party's Secretariat for the screening.


Speaking to newsmen ,some Chairmanship  Aspirants expressed satisfaction with the  arrangements and said they are fully prepared for Saturday's primaries in their respective local government areas.




They commended the leadership of the party, and  the State governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo,  and other critical stakeholders   for playing a vital roles in ensuring a level playing field is provided 




They  expressed satisfaction with Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo exemplary leadership and promised to ensure the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in 2027 general elections


One of the members of the screening committee and member representing Lokoja state constituency at the House of Assemby, Hon.Team Best Ibeya Tijani expressed the hope that the committe will come out with credible results that the party would be proud of.
