Executive Secretary, Nigeria Christian Pilgrimage Commission, Abuja, Bishop Doctor Stephen Adegbite (JP) gave the commendation in a message during the pilgrims celebration and thanksgiving for the states that travelled to Holy land between the fourth of February to the fourteenth, this year.
Represented by the Head of Mission in Israel, Mr Ekwe Odoh, Bishop Adegbite said the immense support of governors have endured the smooth operations of the Commission in their respective States.
The Executive Secretary thanked the Governors for their interest in the spiritual lives of the citizens despite economic downturn.
Bishop Adegbite urged them to continue to sustain the good work and prayed for God's favour and protection on them.
In a remark, the Secretary of Kogi State Christian Pilgrimage Commission, Deacon Simeon Onakpa (Phd) commended Ododo for is passionate approach to spiritual matters.
He recalled that the Governor has been sponsoring Kogi contingents right from the time he was the Auditor General of the State.
Deacon Onakpa described his experience at the holy land as an amazing moments of spiritual rejuvenation through first hand experience of historical sites that the Bible speaks about.
The Commission Secretary who is also the Secretary, Conference of States Pilgrimage Leaders and Management in Nigeria emphasized that the journey is spiritually inclined for the restoration of faith.
He maintained that the exercise avail participants to withnesed the public presentation of Bible translation in Okoh language in Ogori Magongo Local Government Area which was powered by former Secretary to Kogi State Government, Professor Olugbemiro Jegede as well as the presentation of certificates to Kogi State contingents in the Holy land.
