Hon Alh Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali Halims PhD is continuously and genuinely using legislative instruments, such as Bills to reverse the socio-economic problems and challenges at his Ankpa federal constituency.


The Rep. Member is championing and committed to the good causes that will bring the desired development as well as dividends of good governance to his people in his beloved Ankpa federal constituency.


He is an erudite, illustrious son of Ankpa Kingdom. Like some of his colleagues who has shown strong and exceptional leadership track records, he has been working round the clock to sincerely leave a great legacy to better the lots and fortunes of his people.

He believes that one way to improve the well being of his constituents is by using legislative instruments to develop a sustainable and long lasting template for his people.


Understanding the challenges Nigerian are currently facing in the healthcare sector, he drafted a novel Bill to create for healthcare needs of his people. This swift intervention gave birth to the Bill to establish many Federal Universities of Technology.


He is consistently driven by a serious sense of purpose. His amazing legislative interventions are not only inspiring but also commendable. He is a legislator that has his eyes set on the higher goals of leading Ankpa federal constituency to the path of pride, greatness and progress. 


The people's representative, while carrying the hope and expectations of thousands of people in Ankpa federal constituency, he is facilitating the dualization of the  Ajaokuta-Oturkpo-Road via Itobe, Anyigba, Ankpa and Okpo highway.


In terms of employment generation for the youths in his federal constituency, he has so far facilitated employment opportunities in some federal institutions, like Nigeria Police force, Federal Fire Service, Nigerian Army, Nigerian Air force and others.


To quicken development process in his constituency, he has graded and constructed several rural and major roads.


As part of his educational strategic approach, the representative has been applauded for renovating several primary and Secondary schools across his federal constituency.


Futhermore, he paid tuition fees of Law graduates from Ankpa federal constituency, in Nigerian Law Schools.

He also made available payment JAMB/UTME forms for students in the federal constituency, in a bid to advance the good causes of brilliant students, who want to futher excel in their academic endeavours.


The representative who is also the deputy majority leader of the green chamber of the national assembly, has massively distributed several bags of fertilisers to smallholder farmers under the farmers association of Nigeria, Kogi State branch, and also facilitated the distribution of rice to greater number of people in the communities that makes up his federal constituency.


Nigeria needs great minds and futuristic representative, who is ready to work for the common good of their people. Hon Halims  is in that category.
