The Zone B leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi local government have resolved to run for House of Representatives seat for Lokoja/Kogi federal constituency in 2027, adding that Lokoja had it several times and for fair and just Kogi LG should be supported.

e Zone B leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi local government have resolved to run for House of Representatives seat for Lokoja/Kogi federal constituency in 2027, adding that Lokoja had it several times and for fair and just Kogi LG should be supported.
In a Communique issued and signed by all leaders after the zonal meeting of Zone B held on Wednesday at Barr. Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku's residence with representatives of the each wards in attendance.
The Resolution:
1. That House of Representatives should leave Lokoja LGA to Kogi LGA fair and just.
2. The zone B leadership stands by the established zoning for elective positions particularly the Chairmanship and House of Assembly. And have reached a resolution that State House of Assembly is zoned to Zone C.
3. Zone B needs more Patronage of Government by way of appointments.
4. Though the Zone B leadership have constituted a 5 man Committee on Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) sensitization headed by Abdulraman Original, the Public Relations Officer of APC in Kogi LG on the forthcoming continue voters registration exercise, in an effort to ensure those who just attained the age of 18 year actively participate in the upcoming elections.
5. The people of Zone B are grateful to Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for his transparent leadership
6. Adopt Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for a second term
The meeting which had the Executive Chairman of Kogi State Civil Service Commission, Barrister Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku, the Zone B leader, Former Senior Special Assistant to Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello, Elder Yahaya Shadow, Special Adviser on Emergency Management, Hon Muhammed Shuaibu Asio, and Senior Special Assistant on Climate Change, Hon Rilwan Bala Ette
Others at the meeting include, Vice Chairman of Kogi LGC, APC chairman for Kogi LG, Hon Abubakar Onah, LG woman leader, Mrs Angulu, ward chairmen from each of the four electoral wards of Zone B.
