History was made in Ilaje land with the formal installation and inauguration of His Highness Oloja Ogunetemi Adelaja Joseph as the first traditional ruler of Ikorigbo, Igbo-egunrin.



​The installation rites were completed and the official inauguration was performed by HRM Oba (Dr) Phillips Olatunji Kalejaye (JP), Akoledoye II, The Odede of Igbo-egunrin.



This monumental event solidifies Oloja Ogunetemi Adelaja Joseph's position as the traditional leader of Ikorigbo, Igbo-egunrin land.




​Oloja Adelaja was selected from the prominent Egunetemi ruling house of Ikorigbo.

​In his sacred role, His Highness serves as a vital spiritual leader, offering supplications to God and the Òrìṣà on behalf of his people during the annual festivals.



​Oloja Ogunetemi Adelaja Joseph is committed to promote Ilaje culture, fostering peace-building, and driving economic empowerment within his domain.


 Known as a man of his word, His Royal Highness embraces the tradition of the land and champions the well-being of his domain and  entire community.


​The entire community of Ikorigbo and well-wishers across Ilaje land offer heartfelt congratulations to Kabiyesi.
