‎The Auditor General of Kogi State, Alh. Yakubu Okala, has reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Alh. Usman Ododo.

‎

‎Alh. Okala made this known when the executive members of the President Tinubu/Governor Ododo Polling Unit Canvassers, led by the State Coordinator, Hon. Thomsen Alfa, paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Lokoja.

‎

‎He described the group’s mission to mobilize voters across wards, polling units, local government areas, and the entire state as a welcome development. According to him, the group stands out as one of the most strategic voter–mobilization bodies in the state, emphasizing that all elections are ultimately won at the polling units.

‎

‎Alh. Okala further stressed the need for the group to remain committed to its objectives, assuring them that his doors remain open for every necessary support toward achieving their mandate.

‎

‎Earlier in his remarks, the State Coordinator of the group, Hon. Thomsen Alfa, expressed gratitude to the Auditor General for the warm reception. He explained that the group’s core objective is to canvass votes for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Usman Ododo. He added that the membership of the group cuts across all 21 local government areas of the state, down to wards and polling units.

‎Hon. Alfa also noted that members of the group are individuals with proven integrity and excellent records in political participation. He assured the Auditor General that the group’s mobilization efforts would extend beyond Kogi State, targeting all 36 states of the federation, including the FCT.

‎

‎The highlight of the visit was the official unveiling of the group’s manifesto, followed by a group photograph with the Auditor General.
