Kogi, ECN Partners on Clean Energy Transition

The Kogi State Government says it will partner with the Energy Commission of Nigeria (ECN) to improve energy access through clean and renewable sources, in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. This was reaffirmed during a working visit by the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo to the headquarters of the Energy Commission of Nigeria (ECN) in Abuja, where he was received by the Director-General and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Mustapha Abdullahi. The visit was an opportunity for strategic engagement between the Kogi State Government and the Commission, focusing on areas of collaboration to accelerate clean energy solutions, particularly off-grid electricity development that benefits underserved communities.
