Stakeholders in the educational sector have been urged to concentrate more on extra curricular activities to develop the innate talents in students and pupils. Chairman Kogi State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) Mallam Abdulrahzak Muhammed Yusuf gave the charge during the end of Sporting Competition among schools in Kogi State. Mallam Abdulrahzak who said the current generation of leaders have failed in some aspects of grooming successful leaders for the future appealed to educationists to concentrate on individual talents and skills. He appealed to teachers to raise up to the challenges by focusing on leadership and innate tendencies that can reshape the future for better. The SUBEB Chairman commended teachers and game masters for putting up a comparative show and assured that the lapses noticed in the aspect of preparation and drillings would be addressed in the next sporting events.
