EID-EL-FITR: Gov. Ododo Urges Muslims to hold on to Lessons of Ramadan
Ko gi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has felicitated with Muslims on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, urging citizens to sustain unity, compassion and peaceful coexistence as lessons of Ramadan. In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media, Hon. Ismaila Isah, the Governor described Eid-el-Fitr as a significant moment marking the successful completion of Ramadan a period of fasting, reflection and spiritual renewal. “Eid-el-Fitr is not only a celebration of the end of fasting but also a reminder of the shared values that bind us together as a people and teaches sacrifice, generosity and love for one another.” Governor Ododo commended the Muslim Ummah for their devotion, discipline, and prayers for the peace, stability and progress of Kogi State and the nation during the holy month.
