Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has been congratulated on the occasion of Ed-el- Fitr.

 


The Director General, Kogi State Bureau of Lands, Tpl. Kehinde Augustine Salihu-Otaru (FNITP) in his congratulatory message in Lokoja said the Holy Month of Ramadan is one of the pillars of Islam that teaches restraints, charity, resilience and fear of Allah.


Tpl. Salihu-Otaru commended Governor Ododo, his Deputy, Comrade Joel Salifu, the Account General, Hajia Doctor Habibat Tijani Onumoko and the entire members of his cabinet for sustaining the established recognition of the work force through prompt payment of salaries particularly during festive seasons as well as implementation of promotions.


He advised Muslims to abide with the lessons of Ramadan by maintaining peace with adherent of other religion.


Tpl. Salihu-Otaru also called for prayers for stability and progress emphasizing the need to live a life of holiness, love and devotion as exemplified by the Holy Prophets.


While urging the Bureau of Lands and civil servants in general to be supportive of the APC led administration at both National and State's level, the Director General prayed for more prosperous years ahead.
