Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, FCA and his Edo State counterpart Gov.  Monday Okpebholo, on Wednesday led a massive mobilisation of Kogi indigenes and other non-indigenes resident in Osun State in support of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), ahead of the August 15, 2026 governorship election. The Kogi State Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support (L-PRES) Project, has opened bids for the Construc­tion Works Phase 2 at the Live­stock Service Centre (LSC) Osara, Kogi State. The Construction of Livestock Service Centre (LSC), Osara is one of the key infrastructural compo­nents of the Kogi Livestock Pro­ductivity and Resilience Support (Kogi L-PRES) Project, supported by the World Bank. The exercise, held on Tuesday at the Kogi L-PRES Coordinating Office Lokoja, was declared opened by the Permanent Secretary, Kogi Ministry of Livestock Development, Dr. Abdulsalam Hadi, on behalf of the Commissioner, Dr Olufemi Bolarin.
