The road, which stretches from Ganaja Junction to Ganaja Roundabout to the riverbank, will now be known as the Prince Abubakar Audu Boulevard. Speaking at an event in honour of the late Governor, Ododo described Audu as a colossus and an unforgettable phenomenon who led the state with confidence and conviction.   The Management of the Kogi State Scholarship Board (KSSB) says it has presented the data of 23,828 validly completed applications for the Kogi State Students Bursary Award 2025 to the State appointed independent Consultant for verification. The Executive Chairman of KSSB, Mr Afolabi Joseph‑Raji, in a statement made available to Journalists on Friday in Lokoja, said the board had presented the data of 23,828 students comprising 23,609 undergraduates and 219 Law School students whose applications were validly completed to the State-appointed Independent Consultant - Fast Mita Nigeria for verification. Joseph‑Raji noted that the board received a total of 42,743 applications through its Bursary Management Portal at the end of the online registration exercise, out of which 23,828 were validly completed applications. Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, through the state Security Adviser, Commander Duro Jerry Omodara, led a team of security chiefs, federal and state ministry of works officials, and the State sector commandant of the Federal Road Safety Corp, to assess the road's condition. The team inspected the bad portions of the road to ensure necessary repairs are made before the December traffic sets in. Commander Omodara stated that the visit was aimed at preventing gridlock and ensuring free flow of vehicular movement during the festive period.
