The Federal Government/IFAD Assisted Value Chain Development Programme (VCDP-AF) in Kogi State, has distributed agricultural equipment to farmers and provided start-up packs to 33 Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) to promote inclusion, self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods. The distribution held on Monday in Lokoja, covered farmers who are producers, processors and marketers, as well as women beneficiaries across 5 Local Government Areas: Ajaokuta, Lokoja, Ibaji, Olamaboro, and Kabba-Bunu. The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, has congratulated Dr Hassan Abdulrahman Ocholi on his appointment as the North Central representative on the Board of Trustees of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund. Akume conveyed the congratulatory message on Friday in Abuja when Ocholi paid him a courtesy visit following his appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.  The SGF expressed confidence in Ocholi’s ability to contribute to the work of the board and encouraged him to deploy his experience towards supporting the Federal Government’s agenda for the transformation of Nigeria’s tertiary education sector.
