  Kogi state Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has released funds for the construction of Achara Central Mosque in Tawari ward of Kogi local government area. The medical outreach was organised by the union, in partnership with CAMPDAVID Community Development Organization, offering blood pressure and blood sugar screenings to the public. Chinonso Confidence Benson, leading a team from the PENKUP Collaboration, examined data from seven separate studies involving more than 1,000 participants over age 60. The results show that while time-restricted eating poses no safety concerns, it fails to produce significant improvements in key health measures including weight, blood sugar control, blood pressure, and cholesterol. ## How the Diet Works Time-restricted eating asks people to consume all their food within a limited period each day, usually 8 to 12 hours, then avoid eating for the remaining hours. Someone might eat between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., or between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., then fast until the next day's eating window begins.  The Community Secondary School (CSS) Ejule Class 91 Association has donated six laptops to their alma mater to enhance students' knowledge in Information, Communication, and Technology (ICT).  The laptops were presented during the association's Annual General Meeting and End-of-Year Get-together celebration in Ofu Local Government Area, Kogi State. The outgoing President Dr Sunday Adukwu Jonah, said the initiative aimed to boost teaching and learning, commending members for their contributions.  Dr Jonah noted that the association had previously donated books to the school library in 2021.  Newly elected President Prof. Friday Adejoh Ogwu, promised to build on previous achievements on his predecessors and address other school needs.
