Nigerians have been urged to always develop their creative ability to add value to positive situations in the country.
Former Majority Leader and current Secretary of the State Universal Basic Education Board, Alhaji Salisu Alhassan Adakeke gave the advice shortly after receiving an Award of Excellence presented to him by Ogba Development Association from Bassa Local Government area of kogi state.
Alhaji Salisu Alhassan Adakeke who commended the efforts of the organizers of the award, Mallam Isaq Imam for his ingenuity despite physically challenged noted that such efforts deserves attention for positive reinforcement.
He explained that Isaq Imam who is also the Voice of Nigeria Correspondent was using the occasion to celebrate Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo's performance in the health sector in Bassa land through the estarbliment of well equipped primary health care centre which has placed the local government on global map.
The SUBEB Secretary also urged the people of the state to be watchful during the yelutide seasons and report suspicious cases to the appropriate authorities in the state.
In her remark, the Vice Chairman of the Council, Mrs Aishat Idris Aliu, said Ogba community leaders initiated the programme to forestal unity in the area.
Mrs Aliu said the presentation of Peace Ambassador Award to Bassa Local Government Chairman Mr Theophilus Daruwana Adama is to recognized his consco efforts towards the sustenance of peace and and harmony in the communities.
Also speaking at the event, the Olu of Apata, His Royal Highness, Oba Frederick Durojaiye Balogun expressed appreciation for the award presented to him and urged the people of the state to continue to support the APC led administration
