Kogi Head of Civil Service Appointed; Patron of Ododo, Bassa Youth Grassroots Initiative (OBYGI

 


The Head of Service of Kogi State, Dr Elijah Adeiza Evinemi FCA  in a warm reception  of the top executives of Ododo Bassa Youth Grassroots Initiative (OBYGI) during a courtesy visit in his office, has been appointed patron of the Association.

According to the Coordinator of the group, Comrade Victor M.D Kpanaki  stated that "the contribution of the present head of Service in relation to industrial harmony, implementation of the new minimum wage and prompt payment of salaries is commendable.


He further noted that the state is proud of  his modest contributions to the government of His Excellency, Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo,the Chief Servant of Kogi State while describing him as worker's friendly Governor.

Comr. Kpanaki  reiterated that the membership of the group cuts across the three districts in Bassa LGA and the resilient youths of the area are committed to supporting and projecting the good work of the Governor,   which will give His Excellency a landslide Victory in the area come 2027.


He call on the youth to continue in their support by tapping into the ongoing reforms program of the governor most importantly in the area of agriculture, mining and others.


He said,the appointment of Dr Elijah Evinemi as the patron is to guide the group to achieve excellence considering his experience and track records of service.


Responding,the Head of Civil Service of Kogi State, Dr Elijah thanked the group for finding him worthy and emphasized that he is delighted to receive them considering the role of youth in societal development.


 In his words, Dr Evinemi  lend a voice  of caution to the group not to engage in any acts capable of bringing  disrepute to the state as well as constituted authorities while charging them to remain custodian of positive change in their communities and the state as a whole.


Highlights of the visit was the official unavailing and decoration of the Head of Civil Service as the Patron of the group.
