The Head of Civil Service of Kogi State, Hajiya Falilat Yusuf Musa, has sent a warm birthday tribute to the First Lady of Kogi State, Her Excellency Hajiya Sefinat Usman Ododo, wife of the Chief Servant of Kogi State, as she marks her birthday today.
In a statement made available to the media, Hajiya Falilat Yusuf Musa described the First Lady as a woman of virtue and a beacon of hope to women and families across the state.
She applauded the First Lady for her tireless commitment to the socio-economic advancement of Kogi State through various humanitarian intervention programmes aimed at improving the lives of citizens.
The Head of Civil Service particularly commended Hajiya Sefinat Ododo’s proactive role in championing initiatives that directly impact vulnerable groups in society. She noted that the First Lady has made significant contributions in promoting literacy and vocational training for girls and women, strengthening maternal and child health awareness across the state, and creating sustainable pathways for women to achieve financial independence.
Hajiya Falilat further stated that the First Lady’s passion for the girl-child, her dedication to the health and wellbeing of women, and her commitment to inclusiveness are clearly reflected in the smiles of the thousands of lives she has positively touched across the state.
In her concluding felicitation, the Head of Civil Service offered heartfelt prayers for the First Lady’s wellbeing, asking Almighty Allah to grant her continued wisdom, divine protection, and long life as she continues to serve alongside her beloved husband, the Governor of Kogi State, Ahmed Usman Ododo, for the betterment of the Confluence State.
