A former member of the Federal House of Representatives,Hon Tom Zakari has been elected as the Chairman of Kogi State Chapter of African Democratic Congress ADC.

 


A former member of the Federal House of Representatives,Hon Tom Zakari has been elected as the Chairman of Kogi State Chapter of African Democratic Congress ADC.


Hon Tom was elected during the State Congress of the party in Lokoja.


In his acceptance speech , Hon Tom Zakari promised that he would lead the  party with transparency, accountability and fairness assuring that he would work with all stakeholders and supporters to drive the agenda of the party.




Hon Tom noted that the party was built on hope, inclusiveness and progress, stressing that members of the party will continue to champion these values and work tirelessly for the betterment of Kogi State.



The former Federal Lawmaker assured that he would reach out to all the people of the state, bridging divides and building coalitions and appealed to members of the party in the state to mobilize,organize and energize their base to attract more supporters.


Hon Tom who expressed appreciation to the entire members of the party said their unwavering support and trust brought the party to it's present point.


He assured that if the party is given mandate to lead the state in future,it will focus on good governance, economic empowerment, quality education and healthcare.
