Speaking at the occasion, a former All Progressives Congress (APC) Zonal Chairman for Kogi East, Hon. Muhammed Nasir Alfa, commended Chief Erico’s longstanding contributions to societal development. He noted that even before venturing into politics, Chief Erico had distinguished himself through impactful projects such as rural electrification, water schemes, youth and women empowerment initiatives, stipends for the elderly, and the construction of mosques and churches.

Hon. Alfa declared his unwavering readiness, alongside his supporters, to follow any political direction Chief Erico may choose as the 2027 general elections approach. He emphasized that the time has come to elect representatives who understand the true value and impact of public office, describing Chief Erico as eminently qualified for such responsibility.

Responding, Chief Erico expressed deep appreciation to the traditional council for the honour and pledged to continue contributing positively to the development of his community and the entire Igala Kingdom. He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the palace and serving his people with renewed dedication.

Chief Erico also thanked all guests who travelled from far and near to celebrate with him, noting that words were insufficient to express his gratitude. He specifically appreciated APC leaders including Hon. Ogwu Alhassan, Hon. Muhammed Nasir Alfa, Hon. Yunusa Gabriel Olofu including FANWAS group from Kogi East and other party stakeholders.

In another development, the Area Commander of Ankpa, Mr. I.J. Manman, was present for the official introduction of a new security outfit sponsored by Chief Erico and approved by the Kogi State Commissioner of Police. During inspection, the Divisional Police Officer of Imane Division confirmed that the operatives had undergone necessary training to complement existing security structures in tackling insecurity.
