Kogi State Chapter of the Christian Northern Nigerian Progressive Forum(CNNPF) has presented an award of recognition to the House of Representatives Aspirant under All Progressive Congress (APC) from Oworo Ward in Lokoja Local Government Area, Hon Abdulrahuf Yakubu.

 



Kogi State Chapter of the Christian Northern Nigerian Progressive Forum(CNNPF) has presented an award of recognition to the House of Representatives Aspirant under  All Progressive Congress (APC) from Oworo Ward in Lokoja Local Government Area, Hon Abdulrahuf Yakubu.


Chairman, Board of Trustee of the Forum, Hon Ibrahim Itodo during the conferment of the award in Lokoja, said it was borne out of conviction of humanitarian services render to the people of Lokoja/ kogi Federal Constituency by Abdulrahuf Yakubu who  has been a grassroots politician over the years.


He explained that he has spread his philathropists  gesture to the youths by facilitating employment opportunities at both Federal and State level.


According to him, his popularity has earned him enough trust to contest for the position of House of Representatives Representing Lokoja and Kogi Koto Karfe Constituency.


He stressed that the award confered on him was an indication of honor and a motivating factor to foreground his philanthropist gestures.



Speaking, the chairman Christian Northern Nigerian Progressive Forum kogi State Chapter, Hon Medupin Ephraim expressed optimism that the confirmation  of the award was not  in recognition of individual personalities but their contributions to the society.


He promised to give him the needed support to achieve his political ambition.


In his presentation of the award, a Board of Trustee Member, Mr Ibrahim Itodo urged the awardee to give  necessary support to Inter Party Affairs Committee in the state as well as the Northern Nigerian Progressive Forum to propagate his  political ideology.


Also speaking  at the event, the Chairman Inter Party Advisory Council, Iliasu Badanga said stakeholders in the political sectors will be convinced to assist the Aspirant in his quest for relevance in politics.



Earlier in her welcome address, the Deputy Woman Leader of the All Progressive Congress APC Party, Hon Joy Oguche urged the Aspirant to be mindful of Sycophants as he progress in his political journey.


She explained that Sycophants are out to milk politicians who has no political relevance and what it takes to emerge victorious.


Hon Joy assured of total support from women across the state to enable President Bola Ahmed Tinubu emerge victorious as well as Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in the next gubernatorial election.
