2024 UEC Graduation ceremony : Principal, Jibrin Sunday Ojodale assures parents of proper moral and academic standard



Principal of United Evangelical Church Secondary School, Lokoja, Mr Jibrin Sunday Ojodale has assured parents that the management will sustain high academic standard and moral upbringing of students.


Mr Ojodale gave the assurance at the  2024 graduation ceremony of the College held at the School premises, Old Poly Quarters, Lokoja on Monday.



He noted that the school has had its integrity over the years based on high academic performance, saying management has zero tolerance for examination malpractice.


Mr Ojodale advised the graduands to see the UEC secondary School as a pride of place, assuring that management would work harder to enable the school meet global standard.



The Principal admonished the graduating students to be good ambassadors of the School, adding that as a Mission institution, efforts will not be spared at bringing out the best in the young generation and making impact in the society.


He particularly appealed to parents to bring in their children and wards based on several factors which include affordable fees, academic standard and proper moral training among others.


Some of the graduating students who spoke separately in an interview noted that UEC Secondary School, Lokoja remains one of the best schools in the metropolis which do not entertain examination malpractice.


They maintained that they will continue to reflect on the lessons learnt in the School with a view to becoming a worthy ambassador wherever they find themselves.



Highlight of the ceremony was the recognition of staff who distinguished themselves in diverse ways as well as outstanding students, while a final year student, Daramola Ayomide was honoured for making the school proud by scoring over three hundred in the recent Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB examination.
