Stakeholders of the Social Democratic Party SDP in kogi State assured of overwhelming victory at the forthcoming local Govt polls



Stakeholders of Social Democratic Party in kogi State have been urged to work in synergy to win landslide in the forthcoming local government election .

The caretaker committee  chairman and the running mate to the  governor candidates of the party in the November 11 ,2023 election, Alhaji Muritala Ajaka,, Chief Samuel Abenemi stated this while addressing  stakeholders of the party  at party Secretariat in Lokoja on Friday.



Chief Abenemi , said the Social Democratic Party is ready to participate fully in local government pull across the twenty one local government councils urged the supporters to make the processes a rancour free.


He charged the stakeholders and party members not to relent efforts to ensure total victory for the candidates of the party as shown during the governorship race.



Chief Abenemi noted that the Social Democratic Party will reclaim its stolen mandate at the  Supreme Court and called on the people to be patient for final judgement by the highest Court of the land.


According to him, Social Democratic Party remains the Party to beat in any election and appealed to supporters  to continued to rally round the party's candidates to ensure that  they win overwhelmingly  during the forthcoming local government polls.


Some of the party 's supporters who spoke at the secretariat of the party expressed their confidence that the party will reclaim its stolen mandate soon as well as win the twenty one local government areas under a free,fair and transparent contest.


They maintained that the economic hardship in the land  has become unbearable as people are laguishing under Poverty
