Tricycle Owners Association of Nigeria[TOAN],kogi State Chapter has dissociated itself from joining any planned protest  by any faceless groups in the state.


The State Chairman of the Association, Comrade Idris Abdulrahaman made the  declarification  while fielding questions from newsmen in his office in Lokoja on Monday.


Comrade Idris Abdulrahaman, said that the kogi State Chapter has not received any directive from the National Headquarters  to join any protest as being speculated in different quarters.


He added that there is no circular to that effect as the Association in kogi State will continue to live in peace as being demonstrated by the present administration under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.


Comrade Idris Abdulrahaman appealed to all Tricycle Riders Association executives not to join any faceless groups without taken permission from the state headquarters if the need arise 


He warned that whoever caught in the ungodly acts will be severely dealt with in  accordance with the laws guiding the Association 


According to him, under his watch, "such hooligan behavior will not be tolerated, adding that taskforce would be mobilized to intimate members on the fake plan protest .


On the internal revenue generation, the Chairman called for effective collaboration with the kogi State Revenue Board to work  in synergy with the Association to ensure the smooth running of revenue generation to the state the state government.
