Acting Director kogi State Fire Agency Alh Salawu Ozigi Umar described the 33 yrs anniversary of creation of kogi state as eventful

 




The Acting Director Kogi State Fire Agency ,Alhaji Salawu Ozigi Umar has described the victory of Gov Ahmed Usman Ododo at the  Supreme Court judgement  as a victory for all kogite.


The Acting Director Fire Agency  while speaking with newsmen in Lokoja described the verdict as a resounding landmark judgement, the Supreme Court has upheld the mandate of the people, affirming, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo as the authentic winner of the November 11,2023 kogi state governorship election. 


Alhaji Salawu  onbehalf of the Kogi State Fire Agency extended his warm  congratulations to Governor, Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo on his  resounding Apex Court judgement .


According to him, the verdict by the highest Court of the land has brought all the hurdles of the leadership of the state to rest, while the governor and  his workaholic team will henceforth concentrate in providing leadership to the state and its citizens. 


He called on the winner to be magnanimous in victory by carrying every segment along the scheme of things for the overall development of the state.


Alhaji Salawu Ozigi called on the people to shun their political differences and join hands with the present administration under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his efforts to develop the state.


On the thirty three anniversary of kogi state, the Acting Director said the state has withnessed tremendous progress since  it's creation and commended the then Military President Ibrahim Babagida and the founding fathers for the opportunity to have kogi State among other states created in the last thirty three years.
