Memunat Ogirima felicitates with Gov Ahmed Usman Ododo on Supreme Court judgement @ 33 yrs anniversary of kogi State



As we celebrate the 33rd anniversary of the creation of Kogi State, a momentous occasion that marks the formation of our beloved state from the old Benue and Kwara States by the then military president, Ibrahim Babangida, on August 27, 1991. 


The immediate past Head of Project Financial Management Unit, Hajia Memunat Ogirima felicitates with Gov Ahmed Usman Ododo and the good people of kogi state on this memorable occasion of our dear State.


Hajia Memunat Ogirima said the reflect on our journey sofar,  therefore acknowledge the immense potential that Kogi State boasts—its abundant human and natural resources, strategic location as the confluence of major rivers, and its unique position bordering ten states in the federation, including the Federal Capital Territory.


Former Head (FPMU) also said in the years past, Kogi State has made significant progress, we recognize that there remains much to be done in the  journey so far.


According to her, the although we face  different challenges  demand renewed commitment and strategic interventions to harness our resources and foster sustainable development. 


It is in this light, to note that stakeholders, including  advocating for a robust and long-term development plan for our dear State should  always be put into consideration.



As we commemorate with  the creation of Kogi State @ 33, we call for the immediate kick-off of the implementation of our Strategic Development Framework, as outlined in the Kogi State 32-Year Development Plan which is jarmain to all. 


She however explained that framework is not just a document; it is a roadmap to inclusive growth that will empower our communities, improve infrastructure, and create sustainable economic opportunities for all citizens to tap.


The Former Head (FPMU) Hajia Memunat Ogirima maintained that Kogite—citizens, government officials, Civil Society Organizations +CSO), and all private sectors—to unite for the progress of the state.


Let us advocate for policies that promote equity, transparency, and accountability in all spheres of governance and development.


It is imperative that we engage in meaningful dialogue and collaboration to ensure that no one is left behind in our quest for progress.


As we celebrate our past, let us also remember the future where Kogi State stands as a beacon of development, resilience, and unity. Now is the time to act—let us embark on this journey together for a brighter future.


Mrs Ogirima use the medium to Congratulates Gov Ahmed Usman Ododo on his victory at Supreme Court judgement which she described as a testament for the good governance.


The Former Head FPMU also congratulated all APC family, stakeholders, supporters and the good people of kogi state to continue to Join hands with governor Ododo to enable him consolidate on the development strategies of his predecessor Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello.


Happy 33rd anniversary to Kogi State and congratulations to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo on his victory at Supreme Court judgement.
