Gada Shagari in Lokoja local government area appeals to the state government to provide the community with more basic amenities



Kogi State Government has been called upon to provide basic amenities to the people of Gada shagari in Lokoja Local Government Area.


The Secretary of Aguma Gada shagari Abubakar  Ahmed made the call while speaking with News men in Lokoja.


Alhaji Abubakar Ahmed said the community is in need of basic amenities such as fertilizers, potable water and the upgrading of the traditional ruler of the community from none to third class status.


The secretary Commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his prompt payment of salaries to civil servant.


 According to the Secretary of the Aguma ,farmers in the area appealing to the state government to provide fertilizers to farmers in Shagari Community to improve their farming activities.


He described Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and his Deputy Comrade Joel Salifu as children of destiny and pledged the support of Gada shagari Community to the present Administration.


Alhaji Abubakar Ahmed maintained that twenty seventeen will be a walk over for the governor if only he can sustain his programme for the success of Kogi state and Prayed God grant him wisdom to succeed.


He called on the Youths of the community to shun crimes to enable  development  to strive and appealed to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to employed and appointment youths of the area to serve in his cabinet.
