New Environment Perm Sec Assumes Duty, Calls For Collaborative Front
The newly posted permanent secretary to the State Ministry of Environment and Ecological Management, Hajia Lammy Lawal has officially assumed office today, 24-09-2024, pledging to revitalize the environmental sector through innovative policies and collaborative efforts.
She made this known during a handover ceremony held at the Ministry's headquarters
In her remarks, Hajia Lammy Lawal commended her predecessor for laying a solid foundation and assured the staff of her commitment to building on existing successes.
Hajia Lawal identified herself as a results-driven leader who values diversity of expertise, recognizing every individual's unique strengths and perspectives.
She expressed her heartfelt appreciation to His Excellency, Governor Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, for setting significant difference milestones in the ministry and driving the state towards progression. She also extended her gratitude to the Head of the Civil Service of the state for entrusting her with the role.
The outgoing Permanent Secretary, Alh Jibrin Saidu, congratulated Hajia Lawal and expressed confidence in her ability to lead the ministry to greater heights.
In their separate remarks, staff and management of the Ministry welcomed Hajia Lammy Lawal, promising to work collaboratively with her to achieve the Ministry's mission and drive sustainable development in the state.
