Every Saturday has been declared Sanitation Day in Idah

Council wishes to inform the general public that Saturday, November 30th, has been declared Sanitation Day in Idah Local Government Area.

The Executive Chairman of Idah Local Government Council, Hon. Alhaji Alfa Halilu, invites the general public to join him at Ega Market for a cleanup exercise. This is aimed at setting an example for others to follow and promoting a culture of cleanliness in the community.

As part of efforts to promote cleanliness and hygiene in the community, there will be a restriction on movement on all roads within the local government area from 7:00 am to 10:00 am.

"We urge all residents to come out and participate in this exercise," the Executive Chairman said. "Let us work together to keep our community clean and promote a healthy environment."

The Idah Local Government Council appeals to the general public to cooperate with the sanitation exercise and observe the restriction on movement during the specified hours.
