The former Vice Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area, Honourable Danladi Ibrahim Bababudan has commiserated with the Federal University Lokoja and Kogi State in general on the tragic end of students died in Felele axis.

 


The former Vice Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area, Honourable Danladi Ibrahim Bababudan has commiserated with the Federal University Lokoja and Kogi State in general on the tragic end of students that died in Felele axis.


Bababudan in a message made available to newsmen in Lokoja said the sad occurrence was a rude shock to kogites and the country as well.


He observed that accidents have been frequent along the axis and called for a permanent solution to prevent such occurrence.


Bababudan who is also a former assembly member suggested alternative rout for articulated vehicle noting that with the growing population due to siting of higher institutions in the area, the numbers of vehicles plying the road have skyrocketed.


The former lawmaker also appealed to motorists to stick to the rules guiding road users in the aspect of speed, maintenance, luggage size as well as the physical and psychological welbeing of the driver.


Bababudan prayed to Allah to grant the immediate families of the deceased the fortitude to bear the loss and forgive the sins of the victims.
