The people of Yagba West Local Government Area have been urged to prepare for a befitting host of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to Yagba land tomorrow.



 The people of Yagba West Local Government Area have been urged to prepare for a befitting host of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to Yagba land tomorrow.


The Elegbe of Egbe, His Royal Highness, Oba Ayodele Irukera made the call in a telephone conversation with newsmen in Lokoja.


Oba Irukera said Yagba people are delighted about the performance of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, hence the need to give him a rousy welcome in Egbe and beyond.


He expressed delight in the hope of meeting the Governor one on one and urged the people to showcase their ancestral spirits of love and hospitality to the Governor and members of his team.


The traditional ruler thanked politicians from the area for their roles in meeting the demands of the people in the  aspect of infrastructure saying Egbe township roads have greatly improved.


He also commended the Governor in the aspect of education, payments of salaries to all categories of workers as well as the pensioners saying his decision to first visit Yagba West in his tour is appreciated.
