Yahaya Bello Advocates Support for the Re- Election of President Tinubu, Gov. Ododo of Kogi State




The former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has called for support for the re- election of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State.



The ex-governor made the call when former political office holders under his leadership paid him a courtesy visit at his residence in Asokoro Abuja.


The ex-governor  promised to mobilize youths and all voting  age to achieve this milestone in 2027, stated that Mr. President is doing excellently well and that,there is no need to change a winning team emphasizing the need for the All Progressives Congress (APC) led federal government to be entrenched itself at all levels in Nigeria.



He commended the former appointees for recognizing his modest contributions and achievements while in office and urged them not to relent in assisting the present government under the leadership of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to succeed as well, they affirmed that Governor Ododo is working hard to realize the 32 years Kogi development plan aimed at improving life at the rural level across the state and ensuring Kogi State is rated high  in the country.


He admonished the former appointees not to distance themselves away from the government, but to be alive to their responsibilities by bringing useful developmental plans and ideas to the table at all times thereby promoting development of the state.


The leader of the delegation and present SSA to the governor on community engagement Hon.Isah Onimisi Babangida , thanked the former governor for the warm reception accorded them and said ,the group was on the visit to thank Alhaji Yahaya Bello for given them the opportunity to serve during his tenure as the governor of Kogi State and to wish him more successes, strength, wisdom and longevity in the years ahead.

Highlight of the visit was the presentation of Iftar gifts and prayers for continued peace, progress and development of the state and Nigeria.
