Kogi State Gov Ahmed Usman Ododo has been called upon to appoint sons and daughters of Okete South East in Kogi Local Government Area into key positions in his cabinet

 


Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has been called upon to appoint sons and daughters of Okete South Easth in Kogi Local Government Area to key position in his carbinet at the State.


The Aguma Anguwa Bassa Okete South Easth Çhief Danjuma Gata stated this in an interview at his palace Okete South Easth Kogi local government Area.


Aguma Danjuma Gata said the people of the community have been participating in all elections without being compensated and appealed to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to remember them in his tenure.


According to the Aguma Anguwa Bassa Okete South Easth Çhief Danjuma Gata said the Area is suffering from lack of potable water and other social amenities and appealed to the state government to provide for the people of the community.


The Aguma Anguwa Bassa Okete South Easth Çhief Danjuma Gata praised the Ohinohi of the community for sustaning peace in the community and called on the state government to upgrade him to third class statures as other Traditional ruler in the state.


Also speaking the Madaki Anguwa Okete South Easth Kogi local government Area Chief Chabani Hussein praised Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for creating enabling environment for the people of the community to thrive.


The Madaki appealed to Independent Electoral commission to esterblish a voting center in the Anguwa Bassa Okete South Easth Community pledging the total support of Bassa people to the Administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo


He also praised the Governor for prompt payment of salaries and prayed God to grant Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and his Deputy Comrade Joel Salifu wisdom and courage to pilot the affairs of the state to greater heights of development


Chief  Chabani Hussein called on the Bassa Youths of the area to remain focus shun evil and work collectively for the rapid development of the Area.
