MTN MAY RESUME OPERATIONS TODAY
Network providers in Lokoja metropolis have been called upon to put modalities in place to avoid future occurrences in the breakdown of Network service in Kogi state.
This was the opinion of customers who spoke on the negative effects of the network within Lokoja.
A furniture maker, Sunitex furnitures, Lokoja, said the breakdown in communication has negatively affected his business as he not access his customers as usual.
Similarly, Mrs Paul, called on government and the network providers to resolve issues quickly through dialogue to avoid future occurrences.
A point of Sales Operator (POS) , Esther Rufus regretted that she has lost serious money since MTN stopped working in the state capital.
A Keke operator who chose to speak on anonymity appealed to network providers to look on the plight of the ordinary Nigerians and restore the network.
Efforts to reach the Director General, Kogi State Utility Infrastructure Management and compliance Agency (KUIMCA) proved abortive as he was said to be out of town.
However, sources at the MTN office in Lokoja revealed that the issue between the Telecommunications giant and the government has been resolved.
From all indications, MTN Network could begin work from today.
The question is, will customers be compensated for the lose in network since they are not at fault?
