The Christian Northern Nigeria Political Forum (CNNPF), under the visionary leadership and patronage of Rt. Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji and Hon. Ibrahim Kabiru Masari, extends its heartfelt congratulations to Professor Nentawa Goshwe Yilwatda on his well-deserved emergence as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).



CNNPF, the only Christian political platform that openly endorsed the Bola Tinubu/Kashim Shettima Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket in the 2023 general elections, proudly affirms that this appointment is a remarkable milestone—made possible through the committed leadership of Rt. Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji and Hon. Ibrahim Masari.


The National Chairman of CNNPF, Hon. Ibrahim Gabriel Itodo, described Prof. Yilwatda’s appointment as “a square peg in a square hole.” He emphasized that it dispels long-standing misconceptions about the Muslim-Muslim ticket being an agenda for Islamization or religious dominance. Rather, the emergence of a Christian National Chairman such as Prof. Nentawa is a clear testament to the APC’s dedication to inclusion, unity, and progress, and it reflects the party’s unwavering commitment—under the dynamic leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR)—to building a renewed and more inclusive Nigeria.



This significant development reaffirms the President's resolve to reposition the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections and beyond. Prof. Nentawa's leadership symbolizes renewed hope, strength, and competence, and underscores the values of character and capacity, which he embodies. 


His emergence from the North Central region has quelled fears of marginalization from that zone. It is not surprising that he received unanimous endorsement from party members nationwide—signaling unity, consolidation, and a strategic push towards victory in 2027.



The Christian Northern Nigeria Political Forum also reiterates its unshakable loyalty and commitment to Senator Oluremi Bola Tinubu, fondly regarded as the "Esther" of this administration. Her unwavering support for the APC-led government and her instrumental role in the advancement of CNNPF are deeply appreciated and will be remembered for generations to come.
