Enemona Anyebe says PDP remain stronger despite defectors



Kogi State chapter of the opposition People's democratic party says despite the recent dumping of the party by some  leaders and supporters to the African Democratic Congress it still remains stronger


The state chairman , hon. Enemona Anyebe gave the assertion in a chart  with newsmen shortly after the state executive committe meeting of the party held in Lokoja, the state capital.


He explained that those who abandoned the party that previously gave them platform to be elected and brought them to the political lime light will not in any way affect the fortune of the party in future political activities.


Hon. Anyebe said the party isn at the moment being rejig and repositioned to be vibrant and  to mentor the next generation future political Leaders of the country saying that the party is deeply rooted in the grassroots that no amount of challenges  can  affect its popularity.


According to him, the Party is fielding hon. Godwin Meliga as candidate for the bye election into Okura state constituency which has fixed by the Independent National Election Commission [INEC], saying that the pary is mobilizing full support for the victory of their candidate at the pull.


Hon. Anyebe explained that the state executive committee  meeting also deliberated on the resolutions of the National Executive Council meeting of the party which was held in Abuja , advising that no individual can be members of two political parties at the same time.
