Kogi State Governor Commends OJN Foundation Youth Hub, Pledges Full Support for Youth Development

In a landmark visit earlier today, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, toured the newly established Youth Hub of the Oladele John Nihi Foundation (OJN Foundation). The Youth Hub, a brainchild of Hon. Oladele John Nihi, who currently serves as the Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth & Student Matters, is a strategic initiative designed to provide a safe space for education, innovation, mentorship, and skills development for the young people of Kogi State.

Governor Ododo, visibly impressed by the vision behind the project, commended Hon. Nihi for his proactive leadership and dedication to youth empowerment. He described the facility as a “vital platform” that will serve as a catalyst for nurturing future leaders, job creators, and change agents across the state.

“This Youth Hub is more than just a building; it is a symbol of our commitment to the future of Kogi State,” the Governor stated during his tour. “We are proud of the initiative and I assure you of my administration’s unflinching support in ensuring that our youths are equipped with the tools they need to succeed.”

The Youth Hub is expected to run a series of impactful programs ranging from digital and vocational skills training to mentorship schemes, seminars, and access to educational resources. Its establishment aligns with the Governor’s broader vision of inclusive governance and sustainable development through strategic investment in human capital.

Hon. Oladele John Nihi expressed deep gratitude to the Governor for his presence and words of encouragement. He reiterated that the Hub was born out of a desire to give Kogi youths a fighting chance in today’s competitive world.

“The Governor’s visit is a huge morale boost to us,” Nihi said. “It shows that he truly believes in the potential of young people and is willing to invest in our dreams.”

The visit marks a significant milestone for the OJN Foundation and the youth community in Kogi State, signaling the dawn of a new era in youth inclusion, innovation, and progress.
