Secretary to the state Government, Mrs Ayoade Folasade gave the urge during the fiftieth birthday anniversary of a lecturer in the department of Economics at Prince Abubarkar Audu University and a lunch of a book titled, " Time and Season of Life'.


Mrs Ayoade said there is need to always encourage people to read to acquire the knowledge an author conveys.


She recalled the derogatory notion of hiding vital things in a book to evade the quest and curiosity of an average Africans and called for a paradigm shift.



The SSG also revealed positive steps taken to reduce youths restiveness and abuse of drugs saying a committee has been set up to look into ways of preventing youths from being trapped and as well frustrate the businesses of illicit drugs.


She commended the author for his efforts in putting down his experiences as a tour guide for the people and wished him a happy anniversary.



Earlier, the celebrant and the author of the book, Mr Olu Jeremiah Femi thanked friends,  family and associates who grace the occasion noting that he drew his inspiration from the need to assist those who have misused their time due to frustration, hard drugs and other challenges.



He maintained that he has initiated Olujerry Global Mentorship to rehabilitate youths through education, research development and capacity building.


There were good will messages from family, friends and associates including: Mr Akinola, Deaconess R.O Williams,     Mr Ezekiel, Elder Ikubaje,  Pastor Solomon among others.
