ormer Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals Development, Barrister Bamidele Suru has felicitated with the state on the occasion of her thirty fourth anniversary.


Barrister Suru in a message made available to newsmen in Lokoja stated that the celebration is worthwhile considering the success recorded so far in the history of the state.


The former Commissioner said the state has withnesed tremendous growth in the aspect of human capital development across the three Senatorial Districts.


He maintained that the people are happy with the current administration that has place premium on the welfare of civil servants as well as infrastructural development.


Barrister Suru urged Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to continue in the positive dimensions and also carry along the private sector his agenda .


He urged him to quicky look into insecurity issues troubling the people of the western part of the state emphasizing that kidnapping and armed banditry has been a nightmare of recent.


While wishing the people of the state a happy celebration, Barrister Suru urged the people to continue to pray and be supportive of the current political dispensation.
