As 2027 Kogi State governorship election draws closer, the Kogi State Head, World BanK Assisted Management Project Unit , PFMU,Mallam Abdulazeez Aliu, has called on  sons and daughters of Ebira nation to filled up behind the re-election bid of the Chief servant of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for unhindered victory.




Mallam Abdulazeez Aliu, who is a proud son of Anebira made the call  on the occasion he was  made  chairman of Annual  Prayer Get- together of National Association of EziOgu Clan held in Zariagi Branch, suburb of Lokoja  Local Government area's on Saturday.



According to him, 2027 is sacrosanct in the political journey of Kogi State as the return of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo back to Lord Lugard House will fast track and sustained the momentum of human and infrastructure development observed about the last two years of the life span of the present administration.


Mallam Abdulazeez Aliu, reiterated that the three senatorial districts of Kogi State have a fair share of social transformation and citizen's upliftment, hence Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo's continuity in power beyond 2027 will bring about consolidating on the gargantuan achievement so far recorded which are empirical for all eyes to attest to it.



He admonished  members of clan to continue to foster meaningful ideas that will stimulate peaceful coexistence with other ethnic groups any where they reside ,saying that peace,unity and harmonious living is a precondition for sustainable growth and development.




Mallam Abdulazeez Aliu, however showered encomiums on the leadership of the clan for organizing the Annual Cultural event that enabled  members of the clan to come together and discuss positive issues for the common good of all.


President, National Association of EziOgu Clan ,Zariagi Chapter, Yakubu Ahmed advised sons and daughters of the Clan to work together to promote peace,unity and progress of the Ebira nation.


He urged them to drop avoidable sentiments that have frustrated the advancement of the clan said what is witnessed in the recent times negate the achievement of their forebears 

.


Mallam Yakubu, commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo administration's for his giant leap in uplifting the standard of living of the citizens and assured of the clan unwavering support to his administration.


While commending governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for taken the lead in security artecture, appealed to the people to continue to rally round his administration for rapid Socio economic development of the state .


The ceremony witnessed cultural display and other entertainment from different musicians in the state and was attended by different traditional rulers including the Onobobanyi- Anebira of Lokoja, Alhaji Shuaibu Mohammed Otue .
