GYB Model Science Sch Adankolo-Lokoja Crowned Spelling Bee Champions

 


The GYB Model Science Secondary School (GYBMSSS) Adankolo-Lokoja, has emerged first in a Spelling Bee Competition as a personal Community Development Service (CDS) programme organized by a Corp member, Miss Blessing Amos.


The competition took place at Crowther Memorial College on Wednesday October 22, 2025.



The GYBMSSS representatives, Shuaibu Innocent and Suleiman Great, both from SS2B, showcased exceptional spelling skills, securing the top spot among others competitors from different schools.


The competition featured prominent schools such as Crowther Memorial College, Muslim Community Secondary School, and An-Asar Secondary School Lokoja, demonstrated GYB Model Science Secondary School's commitment to fostering excellence in education.



The winners were awarded various school materials, recognizing their outstanding performance. 


This achievement reflects the school's mission to equip learners with essential skills, preparing them for future success.


The victory of GYBMSSS Adankolo, a government-run science school, is a testament to the positive impact of Governor Ahmed Ododo's commitment to quality education and free education policies, aiming to uplift schools statewide.
