Kogi Deputy Gov Hails State Poly Rector, Prof. Ogbo, at 53

 


The Deputy Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Comrade Joel Salifu, has congratulated the Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Professor Salisu Usman Ogbo, on the occasion of his 53rd birthday anniversary.


In a congratulatory message issued in Lokoja, the Deputy Governor described Professor Ogbo as a visionary academic administrator whose transformative leadership has redefined the standards of tertiary education in Kogi State.





Comrade Joel commended the Rector for his steady commitment to excellence, discipline, and innovation, which have continued to improve the institution’s profile and strengthen its academic reputation both within and outside the state.


He noted that under Professor Ogbo’s stewardship, Kogi State Polytechnic has witnessed remarkable infrastructural development, improved academic programs, and a renewed culture of integrity and productivity among staff and students.


While wishing Professor Ogbo continued good health, and divine guidance, Comrade Joel expressed optimism that the Rector’s passion for quality is education and youth development will continue to inspire the next generation of leaders in Kogi State and beyond.


He reaffirmed the state government’s support for the academic don and the state Polytechnic, in their pursuit of excellence and service to humanity.
