Oluoje Adeyinka Adeshina Obawale is the Oluoje of Ojenpetu, not the Oba of Modakeke. Ojenpetu is in Okuomoni, Ife North LGA, separate from Modakeke in Ife East LGA.

Recent reports of an attack on Oluoje Adeyinka Adeshina Obawale in Modakeke, Osun State, have caused confusion.

The Oluoje had rented an apartment in Modakeke, where he was attacked by a group led by the Modakeke youth leader.

The incident resulted in injuries to his aides and destruction of property.

This clarification aims to correct misinformation and provide accurate information, Against the False published by Osun Defender News.

Oluoje, Adeyinka Adeshina Obawale the Olu-oje Ojenpetu, I'm a (king) Oba of Yoruba community in Gadumo Ajaokuta Local Government Area kogi state, which we Yoruba people of GADUMO left Gadumo  deu to Fulani herdsmen killing, kidnapping and inhuman behavior, therefore I Requested for farm land from HRM Oba Odedoyin Michael Taiwo, the Olomoni of Okuomoni Ife North LGA Osun state and he resettle us in his land with legal agreement and Recognition letter as Ruler of Ojenpetu community in Okuomoni Ife kingdom.

I rent House at modakeke Ife East Local Government some of my people are with me, some are in Ibadan, Osogbo, Ile Ife, Lagos and other Yoruba Land, we are plan to start farming and building in our new location at Okuomoni land Ife North LGA Osun state.

Information reach us that Oba Toriola the Ogunsua of Modakeke said we are Fulani I went to him and told him that kabiesi I was informed that you said me and my people are Fulani, Oba Toriola said he didn't say so, on the processing to move to our new location, I was attacked on the 24th of April, 2025, I  narrowly escaped death while driving along the Olanrewaju Area of Modakeke Ife East Local Government Osun state, when four brutally looking men attacked me by hitting and breaking the car windshield with the butts of their rifles only for me to miraculously meander my way away from the danger.

2.That at the point, I was not only traumatized but also ignorant of the source of this vicious attempt on my life until one my aunts informed me that on the 28th day of April 2025, the Youth leader of Modakeke Town, to wit, Olowo Obinrin, came to inform her that he, the Oluoje, was lucky to have escaped at the Olanrewaju Area of the town when previously attacked but that he and his men are still looking for me everywhere with guns and other dangerous weapons.

He stated further that my offence is that I collaboration with HRM Oba Odedoyin Michael Taiwo the Olomoni of Okuomoni to bring about three thousand Fulani people into Okuomoni and I was promoting Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi - Ojaja II that he is Head of traditional ruler, an allegation that is absolutely false.

3.That the assailant was quoted to have said that a death sentence has been passed on myself and my entire family.

4.On Saturday the 3rd day of May, 2025 at about 10am, Modakeke Youths leader in company of about 50 thugs 20 of which were wielded 20 pump action rifles while others wielded other dangerous weapons, arrived in gestapo manner at my residence, started shooting sporadically in air, calling me out  all to avail, upon which they started shooting at my car.

5.When the Akogun Ola Ajanaku tried to pacify them, he was viciously attacked with machetes and stones in the head which landed him in the hospital.( 0812 959 8884)

6.The assailants thereafter broke into the apartment and destroying everything in sight and in the process:

a.Three traditional walking sticks.

b.30 pieces of beaded walking sticks.

c.2 Fancy walking sticks.

d.All farmes and pictures.

e. Royal Crown ( Traditional Crown)

f.Shot at my car, breaking the wind shields and including the tires.

g. Carted away infinix Hot 50 Android phone.

h.12 cartons of beer.

I. 12 pieces of Aso Ofi ( Native Attire)

j.1 Gas Cylinder (12kg).

K.The Hooofer and other sound System in the apartment.

I.The sound System in car was removed and destroyed, including the upholstery therein.

.A long Gold chain.

.6 wristwatch.

.Money earlier contributed that fateful morning for the road development of the new site to be allotted for the resettlement of Ojenpetu by Hrm the Olomoni of Okuomoni in the sum of about #10milion was carted away before the treasurer could take it to the 🏧 on the following Monday.

P. Destroyed all vital documents in the apartment.

7. The following items belonging to Akogun Ola Ajanaku were also carted away to wit.

a.1 Samsung A04s Android phone.

b. 1 Samsung Galaxy A06 Android phone.

c. 1 Camera Wristwatch.

d. His wife's cash in the sum of #500,000.00.

e. 1 Chieftaincy cap.

f. 1 Chieftaincy staff.

8. It is pertinent to state that the leader of this vicious gang, who claimed that they were commissioned by Hrm Oba Toriola the Ogunsua of Modakeke and consequently untouchable, says by Mr Lawrence AKA Olowobinrin the Youth leader of Modakeke.

9. He went further to boest that they got the permission of Divisional Police Officer in Modakeke before coming on rampage at my residence, the Dpo call Modakeke Progressive Union Chairman that he is bringing me to Ogunsua Palace he should join him there instead of him to take me to Police Division he carry me to Ogunsua Palace.

10. It is however interesting to state that it was that same  Divisional Police Officer in Modakeke before coming on rampage at my residence.

11.To make matters worse one Engr. Oladosu Moses  who happens to be my landlord at the locus in quo is reported to forced me way into my apartment and in the process seized his standing fans on the ground that I must pay for the destruction caused by the assailants whom claimed to be well known to him he even threatened to tip off the assailants if i ever set my foot on his premise at power line sango ola modakeke Osun state despite the subsistence of my tenancy which has not expired. even as we verily believe that he is in a good position to identify the assailants, the perpetrators of the crimes, the subject here in.

12.Private investigation reveals that there gun runner is one Chief Akoki the Iyalode of Okuomoni whose place of resistance is domiciled at Itasin beside ststaven's A Primary School, Modakeke, Osun state.

Whereof we do hereby request as follows;

1.That prompt action be taken with the view of investigating, prosecuting offenders and protectimg my lives, family and properties as expected

2. Any further action for the advancement of the interest of justice in the circumstances.

"Ogunsua of Modakeke and Olomoni of Okuomoni are both Part 2 Obas ruling their respective territories in Osun State, Nigeria. Ogunsua governs Modakeke in Ife East Local Government Area, while Olomoni rules Okuomoni in Ife North Local Government Area.

Given this, it's unclear why Ogunsua is attempting to claim Okuomoni as part of his territory. Olomoni has rightful authority over his territory, and Oluoje and Ojenpetu communities fall under his jurisdiction, not Ogunsua's.

The people of Modakeke, being educated and prominent, may want to advise their leader, Oba Toriola Joseph, to respect Olomoni's territorial rights and refrain from disputing Ojenpetu community, which is under Olomoni's domain."

This is a sensitive issue involving traditional territories and boundaries in Osun State, Nigeria. The situation involves Ojenpetu, a community under the Olomoni of Okuomoni's territory in Ife North Local Government Area, and Modakeke, under the Ogunsua of Modakeke, in Ife East Local Government Area.

From what is presented, Ojenpetu falls under the Olomoni of Okuomoni's jurisdiction, and there's information that the Ogunsua of Modakeke is disputing Ojenpetu.

The stance is that the Olomoni of Okuomoni has rightful authority over Ojenpetu, and Modakeke, led by the Ogunsua, should respect these boundaries.

For accurate resolution, it's advisable to consult the relevant authorities, such as the Osun State Government or the Chairman of Traditional Council s of Osun Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi - Ojaja II, as they would have the most current and official stance on territorial jurisdictions.

Notably, Oluoje Adeyinka Adeshina Obawale, the ruler of Ojenpetu, didn't have any issues with Modakeke's landmark because he is under Okuomoni.

The issue he has with Modakeke is that the Ogunsua of Modakeke allegedly sent Modakeke youth leaders and thugs to kill him, and the report is with the Osun State Commissioner of Police for investigation.

Ogunsua of Modakeke some group of people are Threatening my life, this people went to Osun Defender News, they lie on the news, I don't care about whatever you write about me, I stand for justice.
