L'aso B'ese's Legacy Lives On: 10th Anniversary Remembrance



 Ten Years On, Her Light Still Shines: 10th Anniversary Remembrance Of Late Chief Adefunke Fadeni (L’aso B’ese)  Holds April 13–17, 2026


The family of the late Chief Adefunke Fadeni, fondly known as L’aso B’ese, has announced the schedule of activities to commemorate her 10th anniversary remembrance. 


The event is set to take place from Monday, April 13 to Friday, April 17, 2026, in Ondo Town, Ondo State.


According to a statement released to the press, the remembrance will commence on Monday, April 13, 2026, with the official launch of the Funke Fadeni Foundation. The event will be held at the Civic Centre, Sabo, Ondo, starting at 11:00 a.m. prompt.


On Tuesday, April 14, 2026, an Open House dedicated to widows and indigent women will take place at No. 17 Ebenezerie Street, Aiyeyemi, Ondo, by 10:00 a.m. prompt.


The programme continues on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, with a Graduation Ceremony at the Civic Centre, Sabo, Ondo, Ondo State. 


A Novelty Match (Final) in honour of the late matriarch will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at the Ondo Stadium Complex, beginning at 11:00 a.m. prompt.


The week-long remembrance will conclude on Friday, April 17, 2026, with a Reception for Dignitaries at the Civic Centre, Sabo, Ondo, Ondo state by 12:00 noon prompt.


Late Chief Adefunke Fadeni, widely revered as L’aso B’ese, was a compassionate and virtuous woman whose life was marked by selfless service to God and humanity. She was known for her generosity, diligence, and unwavering faith—qualities that endeared her to many and left an enduring legacy. Even in death, her impact continues to inspire, and her memory remains a blessing to all who knew her.
