SSA on Council Matters Onoja Samson Meets NYCN Kogi Executives, Harps on Peace and Support for Governor Ododo

 



The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Kogi State Chapter, has reaffirmed its commitment to unity, peace, and constructive engagement following a strategic meeting convened by the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on Council Matters, Hon. Onoja Samson.


The meeting, which brought together key executives of the Council, focused on strengthening internal cohesion and aligning its activities with the broader objectives of the state government. Addressing the gathering, Hon. Onoja stressed the importance of peace, unity, and sustained collaboration among members, urging the leadership to remain steadfast in promoting harmony within the Council.


He also called on members to continue supporting the administration of the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, as well as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that collective support remains essential for effective governance and sustainable development.


According to him, the Renewed Hope Agenda can only be fully realized through unity, cooperation, and the active participation of youth bodies such as the NYCN.


Those in attendance included the State Chairman of the Council, Comrade Abdulrahman; the Deputy Chairman, Comrade Juwon; the Secretary, Comrade Smile; the Vice Chairman (Central), Comrade Mahmoud; alongside other members of the executive council.


The meeting concluded with a renewed pledge by the Council’s leadership to uphold peace, strengthen internal structures, and continue to play a constructive role in advancing the interests of young people across Kogi State.
