*2027 ELECTIONS: SCREENING COMMITTEE OF APC SCREENS HON EBAIYA SHEHU-TIJANI SUCCESSFLY TO CONTEST FOR LOKOJA ONE STATE CONSTITUENCY AHEAD OF PARTY PRIMARIES*

The member representing Lokoja one State Constituency in Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Bin Ebaiya Shehu-Tijani has been screened successfully by the All Progressive Congress (APC) Screening Committee to contest for second term bid ahead of the party's primary elections.


Speaking with Journalists shortly after the screening at the APC Secretariat in Lokoja, Hon. Bin who is an aspirant understand the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) to represent Lokoja one State Constituency, expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the screening.

"The process is very free, very fair.
Everything just falls into shape normal". Hon. Bin.


The Lawmaker explained that the process was free, fair and transparent, appreciating the screening committee for ensuring a credible and hitch-free exercise.

"I appreciate the screening committee for doing their job perfectly well". He said.


The Aspirant appealed to his constituents to continue to be patient with the present administration at state and national levels, saying president Bola Ahmed Tinubu is doing everything possible to put the nation in a proper direction, and Governor Ododo is reciprocating the gesture in Kogi State.

"I want to tell the people of my constituents is to continue to be patient with us. I know it's not easy, but you should continue to be patient with us. Mr. President is doing all he can to put the nation in a proper direction. His Excellency, the chief servant of Kogi State, is also reciprocating the gesture. So I will continue to plead with my people to be patient with the system, be patient with the party. And by the grace of God, tomorrow will always be a better day".  He said.
