2027: Omeiza Audu Troy Picks APC Nomination Form for Okene/Ogori-Magongo Reps Seat

Comrade Omeiza M. Audu, popularly known as Troy, has formally obtained the All Progressives Congress (APC) nomination form to contest for the Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency seat in the 2027 general elections.

Audu, son of the late Ojo Scout, described the move as a “clear and decisive step driven by responsibility, vision, and commitment to service.”

He thanked former Governor Yahaya Bello for paving the way and encouraging greater youth participation in leadership.

Troy also commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for sustaining an open political space where young people can aspire, participate, and contribute meaningfully to governance.

“This moment is bigger than one person. It is a call to duty for the youth of Kogi, especially Kogi Central. The time has come for us to step forward with courage, clarity, and purpose,” Audu said.

He warned that young people cannot afford to stand on the sidelines while decisions shaping their future are made, insisting they must be involved “actively, responsibly, and boldly.”

Audu said representation at the House of Representatives must reflect energy, ideas, and real connection to the people. “I am stepping forward to bring that voice, that energy, and that commitment,” he stated.

Rallying supporters with his “Re-Echo Belief” mantra, he urged confidence in self, voice, and the future.

He added: “We believe in the youth.

"We believe in God. We believe in the people. And we believe in the strength of democracy.”

He pledged to raise the standard of representation and place the constituency on a better pedestal through unity, vision, and action. “The future is now,” he declared.
