  Kogi State Chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools (ASSUS), Comrade Emejeh Sunday Ogwu gave the commendation in an interview with newsmen in Lokoja. Comrade Ogwu who described Governor Ododo as a man with milk of human kindness noted that the gesture was a pleasant relief to thousands of workers who are struggling with economic realities after subsidy removal. He however appealed to the state government to look inward and address the backlog of leave bonus affecting two third members of the union who kept hoping that their situation will be attended to. The Unionist said the state can definitely boast of well experienced and qualify teachers across boards and expressed hope for periodic recruitment to fill the vacuum created by deaths, retirement and other situations.   The Kogi State Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (Kogi L-PRES), has distributed 21 Motorcycles to the Livestock Extension Agents in the 21 Local Government Areas as mobility support to boost Livestock Extension and Advisory Service delivery at the livestock value chain clusters in Kogi State.
